It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim), son of the late Mary Schoolcraft and Ferdinand McCourt. Jim passed peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
Jim is survived by his loving family, wife Thelma Séguin, son John (Diane), daughters Patricia and Catherine, four granddaughters Megan (Justice), Amanda, Caitlin, Melanie (Kyler) and his four great grandchildren James, Zakiyah, Joshua and Jack.
Jim is survived by his sisters Shirley (John) and Barbara (late Robert) and his brother Gerry (Elaine). He was predeceased by sister, Gwen.
Jim was a long time employee of Xerox Canada who enjoyed playing hockey and golf, coaching little and minor league sports as well as spending time with his family.
At Jim’s request, there will be no funeral service. The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the F. Aubry et fils Funeral Home located at 434 Main Rd, Hudson, QC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
