It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Emmett Leo Quinn at the age of 83. Murray passed away peacefully while under care at Montreal General Hospital. Murray is predeceased by his beloved wife Helen on June 19, 2023. Murray is survived by his brother Kevin, his sons Christopher (Ana) and Matthew (Fiona), his daughter Tara (Eric), and his grandchildren Joshua, Emmett, Oliver, Kayla and Ben.
A mechanical draftsman at Kraft Foods in Town of Mount Royal until his retirement, Murray had an eye for detail, building and design: over many years, Murray and Helen completely rebuilt the family house together. Murray was passionate about Irish history, the Black Watch, Canadian military history, genealogy and he enjoyed watching the Canadiens and Alouettes. Helen was the love of his life.
