It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl A. Mettler at the age of eight-three. He is greatly missed by his wife Kathleen and daughter Barbara (Richard Guercio), his grandchildren Stephanie and Casey Guercio from Long Island, New York. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, where he worked for Swissair and then transferred to New York, Frankfurt Germany, Montreal and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He retired here in St. Lazare, Canada.
He loved skiing, soccer, hockey, curling, and gardening. We thank all his doctors, especially Dr. Hryniowski, and the staff at the Hudson Medicenter and Nova Hudson. The Family will receive Condolences at F. Aubry Funeral Home in Hudson, QC on Wednesday January 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 17 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Hudson, at 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karl’s memory can be made to Nova Hudson.
