It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erica Louise Cowell on July 31, 2022 at the age of 47. She is predeceased by her mother, Brenda, and leaves behind her father, Edward, sisters, Adrienne (Soren) and Hilary (Dax), nieces, Robin and Abby, long-time love and caring best friend, Milton, as well as family and friends near and far.
Erica was so talented. She loved fashion and makeup, and some of our fondest memories of her are from Halloween when she would dress up family and friends in extravagant costumes. She was artistic and made the most beautiful hand-painted birthday cards. Erica loved music and was a gifted singer, inspired by all genres from rock to soul but particularly by blues and jazz. She was thrilled to perform live and was proud to have produced her own album.
She was mischievous but gentle, courageous and strong, imaginative and creative, curious, clever and funny. She will be missed, but her beautiful song-filled voice will never be forgotten.
