It is with great sadness that we announce that on March 17, 2025, we mark the passing of John after a short trauma. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years, Mona and his beloved daughter, Lisa. John also leaves behind his nephew and nieces, other relatives and countless friends. Known to many as Papa John and Mr. John, he will be remembered fondly. His passion was his greenhouses working side by side with Lisa. He loved sports, especially his Canadiens, Tim Hortons and his equine son, Blue Rodeo. We wish to thank the Hudson and St-Lazare First Responders, the ambulance technicians, Hôpital du Suroît and especially the Montreal General Emergency team, his doctors and surgeon and the ICU department.
The family will receive relatives and friends, on Saturday March 22, 2025 at F. Aubry & Fils Funeral Home, 28 Rue St-Michel, Vaudreuil-Dorion from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A celebration of John’s life will be held Sunday March 23, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 413 Main Road, Hudson at 2pm. The family will also receive condolences at Church Sunday from 1-2 pm.
