It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Madeleine Mulligan, née St-Hilaire, on June 3rd, 2024, at the age of 94. Predeceased by her cherished husband of 33 years, John Mulligan, she is survived by her children Cathie (Nick), Stéphane (Anne-Marie) and Patrick (Marilyn), grandkids Melanie (Raymond), Stephanie (Jeremy), James (Karina), Giulia, and Shannon (Brocklund). She also leaves to mourn her sister Monique Delorme and many friends.
She departed this world after a long and full life, lived her way. Passionate about flowers, nature, opera, and good food, nothing made her happier than being with her family and laughing. She had a heart of gold and was generous, resilient, courageous, and no-nonsense. She will be dearly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
In accordance with her last wishes, the funeral ritual will be held in private.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the dedicated nursing and volunteer staff of NOVA Hudson for their excellent care and kindness.
Donations, in her memory, to the Montreal Jewish General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
