Anne-Charlotte Kruyt Bowser passed away in Hudson, Quebec on June 30th, 2017. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Anne-Marie Ljungberg and survived by father Robert Kruyt, husband Bryan Bowser, daughter Kirsten (Liam Paull), son Travis Bowser (Natasha Nofal), grandchildren Greta, Ingrid & Gus Paull, brother Peter Kruyt (Claire), and sister Ellen in addition to extensive extended family.
Affable and gracious, charming and engaging, Anne touched the lives of many. She epitomized all that is life-affirming about family and friends. Anne was courageous, generous of spirit and life-embracing. She made friends easily, as many were drawn to her warmth, wit, and uncanny quality of putting others at ease. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Anne was stoic in her journey through cancer. Her bravery and joie de vivre were a ray of sunshine even through the darkest days. She will be profoundly missed.
A service will be held in her honour for family and friends at 2pm on Sunday July 9th at the Hudson Community Centre (394 Rue Main). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dr. Lucy Gilbert’s DOvEE Project or NOVA Hudson.
