It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Shayne Gauthier, 22, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montréal, Québec on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Shayne is survived by his mother, Melanie McAfee, his father, Stephan Gauthier, his sisters, Megan and Alyssa, his maternal grandparents, Betty and Brian McAfee as well as by his paternal grandmother, Theresa Gauthier. He also leaves behind his loving aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Shayne touched our hearts in ways we never thought possible and he inspired all of us to be better. He will forever be missed.
The family will welcome family and friends, in the presence of the ashes, at F. Aubry et Fils Inc. Funeral Home at 28, rue St-Michel, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Friday March 25, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A liturgy of the Word will be celebrated around 7:00 PM.
