It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Daoust on May 21st, 2024, at the age of 68. He passed away suddenly in his Hudson home. He leaves to mourn his son Tyler (Lindsay), his mother Madeleine, his sister Louise (John), his brothers Alain (Carole) and Michel (Linda), the mother of his son Judy, his nephew and nieces, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, and all other family and friends.
We will remember Claude as a relentless worker with great resilience. He devoted himself to the family business contributing greatly to its success. He was well known as an exceptional heavy equipment operator, but his real passion in life was golf.
Claude was a devoted father, an honest and humble man and had strong family values. His charisma and warm smile will be sorely missed. He had a big heart and was extremely generous. Claude always extended a helping hand and touched the lives of many people.
The family will welcome relatives and friends, in the presence of the ashes, on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM at Saint-Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hudson, followed by the religious service to be held at 1:00 PM. A celebration of Claude’s life will also be held at Hudson’s Whitlock Golf and Country Club at 2:15 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Claude to St. James Anglican Church in Hudson, QC or to a charity of your choosing.
