It is with the deepest, heartfelt sadness that both families announce her passing on February 28th 2020. Lydia will be sorely missed by her loving spouse, Robert Bruce Routledge, his child Jennifer, son-in-law Michael Gontar, and grandchildren, Josephine, and Tristan. She leaves behind her father Roger Raux, sister Sylvie and brothers, Henri, Gilbert, Lucien and Patric. Predeceased by her mother Josiane.
Since Lydia’s retirement in 2010 she began a new series of adventures, enjoying so many wonderful happy years making new friends, attending horseshows, travelling abroad and many, many other activities. She was introduced to farm life where she became a certified horse feeder and chicken watchdog. Her love for the grandchildren was unsurpassed and earned her the title of grandma ma. We gave ourselves the name TD (Team Dateless) and accomplished so many projects together with laughter and good hard work. It was an honor and a privilege that she chose to be my partner and together we traveled the winding road of life together. She will be sorely missed by all and should be applauded for her contribution, aspiring just to be a good person in this life and should excel wherever the afterlife leads.

So sorry for your loss Bruce. I’ll have great memories of the times we spent enjoying our grandkids and get togethers at the farm with Lydia. Even though I didn’t know Lydia for all that long it was a privilege. She will be missed by all!
So sorry bud but the memories will surly last the many trips to Peggy’s cove which she insisted to go the great breakfasts in east river and all the trips on the Cabot trail and you can’t forget the whirlybird gig store Rest In Peace gal
The entire Peach family send our deepest sympathies. It was an absolutely honour for us to have had met her, loved her and laughed with her. Bruce, Jenn, Michael..there are no words that will help heal, but perhaps knowing that you have our support, strength and love..
So very sorry to hear of this sad passing of a truly lovely lady. She was kind and generous always. I’m so happy to have had the pleasure of knowing her. RIP sweet lady. You’ll be missed.
